Household name, new look

Everyone agrees: Bosta’s Paper Show has been a household name for quite some time now. Not surprising, considering how the trade show has just finished its 21st edition! The traditional setting for the event, which took place on 22 and 23 January, was the Brabanthal in Leuven. This year, however, the exhibition dazzled everyone with a cool new makeover – almost as cool as the freezing temperatures outside.

Big turnout, optimal flow

The 21ste edition of the trade show lured a whopping 1,485 visitors to the Brabanthal. An increase of 80+ in comparison with 2016’s jubilee edition. The number of exhibitors broke another record for the Paper Show: 92 participating companies took to the trade show floor, showcasing a wide variety of products from the stationery and office supplies industry. To accommodate the large number of visitors and at the request of the participants, the layout of the exhibition was modified. The booths were spread out over the entirety of the Brabanthal, while registration was diverted to a separate container at the entrance of the building. Result: improved visitor flow for all participants.

Paper Show Awards :
Top products in the spotlight

The show has no trouble matching its friendly atmosphere with a high level of professionalism. The presentation of the Paper Show Awards has always proved one of the high points of the exhibition: prizes are awarded to products that stand out on creative, innovative, functional and ecological levels. The Awards are given by a professional jury in collaboration with Script (PMG Editions).
81 products competed for awards in six categories: office machines, office supplies, stationery products, writing utensils, greeting cards, eco

Paying attention to business(es) and families

Suppliers showcased their collections, novelties and top products to an enthusiastic audience of buyers. On Sunday, many people also brought along their families. The volunteers of SOS Children's Villages provided children’s animation, as usual; organising crafts sessions, drawing workshops, handing out glitter tattoos and even putting on a genuine magic show.

A heart for children

Bosta has been a sponsor of SOS Children's Villages for seven years running. The organisation donates a percentage of subscription fees plus 1 euro per Paper Show visitor. On top of that 18 exhibitors also gave generously to this charity, bringing the grand total for SOS Children’s Villages to 12,600 euro. Kim Gevaert, the charity’s ambassador, beamed with pride when she was handed the cheque. The raised amount will benefit the Simbahuis: a shelter for children who are currently experiencing a difficult situation in their lives.

Promotions and prizes

Buyers who placed orders with exhibitors participating in the check book action, enjoyed substantial discounts and promotions. In addition, they could become the winners of two beautiful bikes worth 1,000 euros each. The Paper Show is a generous affair indeed, offering free entry, free parking and free catering for participants and visitors alike.

Paper Show 2018

Bosta’s decision to organise the Paper Show every year, is clearly paying off. Suppliers are offered an opportunity to shine a light on their products and anticipate current market trends. For buyers, the trade show is thé best time to do some lucrative business. And both exhibitors and visitors unanimously agree: when it comes to organisation and atmosphere, the Paper Show is unrivalled.
