Paper Show’s Jubilee Edition smashes records

The Brabanthal was bathed in a festive atmosphere on the 24th and 25th of January. Once again the setting for Bosta’s 20th Paper Show, the location hosted a jubilee edition marked by superlatives: more exhibitors, more visitors ànd a record amount collected for SOS Children’s Villages (SOS Kinderdorpen). In combination with the traditional presentation of the Paper Show Awards, all these elements made the 20th edition a truly festive one.

1408 visitors found their way to the Brabanthal, where 83 exhibitors showcased the best they have to offer. No fewer than 15 newcomers joined our core group of exhibitors. Living proof that the trade show, time and again, offers a representative showcase of what is happening in the industry. Logically, the Brabanthal was packed to the rafters.

Look, compare, test

Thanks to its customary mix of free catering & parking, animated day care and the friendly atmosphere, the Sunday has grown into the traditional family day. No less than 894 visitors showed up on the first day. Again, on Monday, more than 514visitors managed to find their way to the Brabanthal (record 1.408 visitors)

The Paper Show is where you look, compare, test and, ultimately, seal the best deal. As a consequence, the Paper Show has evolved into the industry’s go-to sales exhibition.

This year sales received an additional boost from the trip to New York (value 2.500 €) which Bosta raffled among its buying visitors. The winner was announced on Monday, shortly before closing time: Mrs. Isabelle De Vos from IMB Mechelen (cheque ACCO).
Could there be a happier way to leave a trade show?

An exuberant anniversary party

36 years of Bosta, 20th Paper Show. The perfect occasion for throwing a party and celebrating the jubilee edition with all of the exhibitors on Sunday evening. An amusing band, a fabulous magician and an excellent buffet provided the ideal recipe for a successful evening.

A kind heart for SOS Children’s Villages

Kim Gevaert has been marking the date in her diary for a couple of years now: a visit to the Paper Show on Monday afternoon. In addition to 5% of its membership fees Bosta donates 1€ per visitor to SOS Children’s Villages. Complemented by the support of our 17 generous exhibiting sponsors, Kim Gevaert was handed a check for no less than 12.118€. The proceeds will be used by SOS Children’s Villages to support the operation of the Simba House in Liedekerke. Moreover, employees of company TURBEL will roll up their sleeves and work at Simba House for a day, which will undoubtedly prove to be a unique experience.

Set the date for 2017

Once the previous edition has been evaluated, Bosta will waste no time in preparing the 21st Paper Show and making it another resounding success. In doing so, they will be keeping one thing in mind, for sure: 'Never change a winning team'.

Bosta would like to thank all of its many visitors and exhibitors and is already looking forward to the next edition on 22 and 23 January 2017.
